To apply for an allotment please use the form below. Receipt of your application will be acknowledged with 20 working days. The current (July 2024) waiting time to be allocated a plot is 12-18 months. When you are nearing the top of the list you will be contacted to check that you are still interested in having a plot and when a plot is available you will be invited to view it. Plots are allocated by order of application date.

When you have agreed to rent a plot a Tenancy Agreement will be drawn up between the Town Council and the plot holder and a £50.00 deposit will be taken and held by the Council and returned subject to the plot being left in a satisfactory condition at the end of the tenancy.

Current Costs:

• £70.00 per annum for a full plot
• £35.00 per annum for a half plot

Before applying for a plot please carefully consider the time commitment, to keep a plot in good order it is estimated that 7-10 hours a week is required throughout the growing season.
