About the Grant
The North Petherton Educational Trust provide small financial grant for young people aged between 16 and 25, resident in the parish of North Petherton, who are in full time education, training or apprenticeship scheme.
Application forms
Application forms for 2025 will be available by emailing trustclerknp@hotmail.co.uk or via the North Petherton Town Council Website.
Applications for 2025 open on the 1st September 2025 and close on the 31st October 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be aged between 16 & 25 and resident in the parish of North Petherton, which includes North Petherton, North Newton, Moorland, Huntworth, Fordgate, Woolmersdon, Stockmoor, Wilstock and Somerset Bridge. Please note: You can receive a grant in any year in which you meet the criteria including age and residence.
Applications must be made by the claimant, and be signed by course tutors, parent or carers as necessary.
The grants can cover, or go towards, the cost of books, software, specialised equipment, exhibitions, clothing and tools, but will not be awarded for daily travel or living expenses.
