Notice of Vacancies in the office of Town Councillor for the North Petherton Ward

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Two (2) Casual Vacancies have occurred in the office of Councillor for the North Petherton Ward on the North Petherton Town Council, due to the resignations of Teresa Brown and Lucinda Spelman-Ives.

If within 14 days after the date of this notice, i.e. Tuesday the 16th of June a request for an election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing and delivered to the Returning Officer Electoral Services Office at The Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton, Somerset TA1 1HE signed by TEN electors for the said parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy,
otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option at a meeting of the town council.
